NarrateAR is one of five EdTech companies selected to participate in the sixth gener8tor gBETA Social Impact Equity in Education national startup accelerator program. gBETA Social Impact is a program designed to set a path for startups to pursue investment opportunities. Startup founders receive intensive concierge coaching and access to gener8tor’s national network of mentors, customers, corporate partners, and investors. The five companies were chosen based on their growth potential and investor readiness.
We are on a mission to revolutionize education, especially for those with learning difficulties, with a platform based on fully personalized artificial intelligence (AI) learning companions that grow with kids to unlock their full potential. Our learning companion solution individually supports elementary learners, especially the 1 in 6 elementary students with disabilities that include autism and dyslexia, while simultaneously building capacity for educators. Since its formation in May 2023, NarrateAR created a prototype, tested it with many users, and recently secured $150K in funding from NewSchools Venture Fund. NarrateAR is scheduled to launch its MVP in 2024.
“Bridging equity gaps in education can be addressed in many areas of the K-12 system by supporting teachers and students where they are today. We are excited to work with founders who are asking questions about student inclusivity, teacher capacity building, and student support and wellness. Each one of them is focused on outcomes for students and communities that will result in transformational impact,” said Zaineb Al-Kalby, gBETA Social Impact Director.
