Ama AI Awarded $100,000 from Iowa Economic Development Authority
A Demonstration Fund award from the Iowa Economic Development Authority to bring Ama to more families and providers.

Ama AI received $100,000 through the Iowa Economic Development Authority’s Demonstration Fund to commercialize its personalized platform for children with autism.
Ama helps families, educators, and therapy providers reinforce each child’s individual goals at home, at school, and in clinical settings, through personalized activities, interactive practice, and shared progress.
The funding will go toward refining the platform for Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) providers, improving onboarding and reporting, integrating with provider systems, strengthening security and compliance, expanding outreach, and protecting Ama’s intellectual property.
CEO Dr. Karri Haen Whitmer said the support will help make Ama easier to adopt within the care workflows providers already use.
